How does drinking lots of water increase muscle growth?
What’s the science behind it?
It will with exercise and a proper diet. Your muscles are made up of mostly water, so in order for them to grow, you need to be properly hydrated.
Try to drink a minimum of 64 oz a day, but more is better. Drinking too much too fast can be bad for you, but if you carry a water bottle with you and sip from throughout the day (refilling as needed), you’ll be able to drink at least a gallon a day with no problem.
protein make your muscle growth.

Drinking water won’t necessarily make your muscle grow. Water will keep you hydrated so that your workouts will be more efficient and easier (working out dehydrated will limit performance).
Water will also keep you feeling full. You’ll be less likely to overeat. This could be a problem if you are trying to take on weight.
As an active person, I like to consume water but I don’t go nuts over it. Just get enough so that your workouts are at your peak potential and the rest will come naturally.
Also, too much water can dilute the amount of vitamins avaiable to your body… so it can be used to flush toxins out, it also flushes out some of the good stuff too…
Good luck.
